Psalms, Chapter 13

13:1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long, O Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
13:2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
13:3 Consider [and] answer me, O Yahweh my God: Lighten my eyes, or else I will sleep the [sleep of] death;
13:4 Or else my enemy will say, I have prevailed against him; [and] my adversaries will rejoice when I am moved.
13:5 But I have trusted in your loving-kindness; My heart will rejoice in your salvation.
13:6 I will sing to Yahweh, Because he has dealt bountifully with me.
